This article will go over setting up permissions in ODW products and services.
Follow the below steps to set permissions to items in a list. (this has been used for the global links items.)
- Navigate to the list you want to set permissions on.
- Select the item you want changed by checking the checkbox.
- Now click on the share option in the ribbon.
- In the modal that shows click on the ellipses in the top right corner next to the close icon.
- Select manage access.
- The property pane will show on the right of the page. Within this you can remove, add or edit user’s permissions. Site owners cannot be edited though.
- You will see an edit icon next to most of the users or groups with access to the specific item. Click on this to edit or remove permissions.
- To add permissions, click on the + sign at the top.
- Add the group or user you would like to have permissions to the item and then click on grant access.
- Unselect the Notify people option if you do not want the users to recieve and email displaying permission changes.
- Once finished, you can click the close button.
